Theme Commentary
One of the essential themes in yoga is grounding. At its core, being grounded means you are able to stay calm and self-connected in the face of uncertainty. You protect yourself from the anxiety of being constantly on edge, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Grounding represents a sense of calm, centered on the core of who you are, and connected to the present moment. It allows you to feel safe and well-anchored, even in the midst of chaos.
